A few days ago, I solicited opinions as to whether Back to Iraq would benefit from discussion forums. Well, the people have spoken and so I'm proud to announce the addition of caged death arenas so you can argue out whether the U.S. should go to war or not to your hearts' content.
At the moment, there is no registration, but please keep it civil and avoid ad hominem attacks on other people otherwise I will have to introduce registration. I do not want to do this.

Hey Brad, why do you think the US wanted to check out the 12,000 page document that the Iraqis published before the illegal invasion of their country? And before any other UN member could glance at it? Because there was too much incriminating information in it that needed to be blacked out.

How can the world condem the USA when Sadam killed and murdered millions of his own country men and it seems is asisting with the disruption of the new and rebuilding of a NEW IRAQ.
The United Nations have condoned alot worse in Africa, Central Eroupe by not helping or letting a dictator continue in power, and are still doing so in the world.

the United States invaded Iraq to be able to control the Oil in the country. OIL = FOOD for Iraqi’s (wonder what happened to all the money Saddam had invested in banks or did the US seize that to fatten their pockets.) This is to counteract 9-11 bombings and disruption of dollar vs world economy meaning the dollar was on a massive decline including countries that are US controlled.
Why are there now more Christian Missionaries around Iraq all of a sudden???? Is it to CHRISTINIZE Muslims. Since I witnessed on BBC how they were talking about how the Iraqi’s are care free and abandoning their religion. Well how about the fact that Iraq is in a state of desperation and will do anything for a HELPING hand and these missionaries are taking full advantage of this (Actually sounds very much like CAPITALISM to me.) In fact I see how countries particularly European and American want to show their so-called patriotism by allowing a handful of refugees to immigrate to their countries yet on the other side HOLLYWOOD makes movies of how EVERY muslim is a crazed bomber who wants to kill people.
Due to these facts i have mentioned I have come to a conclusion that both Europe and America is ANTI-MUSLIM. They will never validate or accept MUSLIMS Ever. their goal is to control anything of worth throughout the world and your country might be next.
Considering that they (EU + US) have fought every Eastern country so that they can colonize and implicate their So-called TRADE BILL which does not benefit anyone else but themselves. (aka RICH WIGS).
So the rich get richer and the poor is only but another number which is an excuse to prove how humane they are by providing food to the poor. Instead how about solving the problem at hand and educate, facilitate and create FARMS. Instead of capitalising on AMERICAN OR EUROPEAN produce. (the American’s sell their own produce to themselves so they look humane and profit at he same time, call it successful marketing campaign, thus CAPITALISM.)
I hope one day you all will wake up to the real threat, But by then it will be too late.

The reason we went into this war was for WMD which were not there just remember that. The idea of the war was not to liberate Iraq. Also we were already bombing Iraq way pre nine eleven. But if you even think the way the Insurgents fight is wrong look at it this way they are being attacked by a military force which is superior numberwise and equipmentwise. Hi Bushtheidiot.No civilized person anywhere could buy your argument-that because the so called “insurgents are outclassed militarily it is Ok for them to resort to barbarism.They aren’t faced with the anhiliation of their race nor are they being forced to leave their homes.They are being faced with having their nation rebuilt at US taxpayer expense and SHARING power with the majority Shia.Do you remember why Iraq was being bombed prior to 9/11?One reason was Saddam’s attempts at decimating the Shiites from the air—thus the creation of “no fly zones”Saddam’s forces were shooting at US and Brittish aircraft daily who were patrolling the no fly zones.Another problem here is when you blame Bush for the WMD issue,Saddam could have cooperated at any time to derail the invasion but instead chose to pretend he still had them.
Bushtheidiot, WMD’s were only a reason why it might be advantagious for the rest of the world for the over-throughing of Saddam. Out of this over-throughing of an evil dictator came the much wanted, and anticipated liberation of the Iraqi people. Your arguement about how WMD’s have not been found in Iraq has to be the most closed minded, and short-sighted idea. It might as well be true that there are no WMD’s in iraq, but that does not at all mean that Saddam might not be planning for them. So therefore any right-minded person, in this day and age would attack a threat before it occures. People get pulled over be cop cruisers for speeding, without, without necessarily causing an accedent, as the chances are increased if they do.
Being an Iraqi myself, I find it extremely offensive, and intoleable how you even think of justifing those insurgent scum. My father has when to Iraq, after the war twice, and swore that non of the Iraqi people would even think of doing those attrocities. I am not trying to exclude all of the Iraqi people for this blame, but throughout iraq’s 9,000 year history, and culture, it was never accepted, to for example blow yourself up, for any cause. This I personally blame on the fact that the borders were kept open right after the overthroughing of Saddam’s regime. This allowed many influences from abroad. Iraq’s old reigime was a secular one, that was opposed to Al-Qaeda, and such terrorism, therfore if isolated, the change would be more gradual, and the way of thinking would never have reached such extremes. Also another major flaw in your rguement is that if these terrorists are Iraqi, and are doing this for their beliefs, why have their bombings killed more Iraqis than Coalition troops? Why would any Iraqi go blowing themselves up with many other fellow country-men to avenge a cause? These must probably be government backed, or seperate terror groups who might have a benifit from the unstablisation of Iraq. This can be explained as during the US sanctions on Iraq, Saddam’s riegime bought goods at many times their original cost from nieghbouring countries. Also, the middle East in general excluding Israel is ruled by dictator-like, unelected leaders, who might be threatened to a democratic change to the area, as they might be to follow.
