Man, Christmas through this week has been awful in terms of productivity. I'm traveling this week for the CES expo in Vegas, so publication will be light this week I'm afraid. After this week, hopefully, the server problems will be fixed and the traveling will be done -- at least until May.
Speaking of May, I've realized that I can't really just drop my teaching commitments to NYU so soon before the semester starts. That means that I will *not* make it back to Baghdad by March 26, as I originally wanted, but instead will be looking at early May. The downside is obvious: Later departure date and only two months to cover the politics and other events before June 30's sovereignty hand-over. The upside, more time to save money, and more time to learn Arabic. I'm really sorry for the delay.
