Tonight on the Majority Report

| 5 Comments | No TrackBacks

I'll be appearing tonight on The Majority Report on Air America. (Check your local listings for time.) OK. I guess I do go on liberal shows.

But, for the record, Front Page asked to interview me and I agreed. But then I never heard back from them. Oh, well.

UPDATE: There are archived podcasts available, but you have to be a paying premium member to get access to them. Alas.

Don’t worry about being on the Majority Report. Sometimes I listen to Air America in the mornings and it seems like they have a lot of nonpartisan guests on. After all, if people such as Mike Isikoff can go on Air America without criticism, why can’t you?

I listened to the first 20 minutes, but then my internet connection dropped. I was really hoping to hear about the reaction to Ralph Peters.

I am leaving in 2 weeks for a one year job contract in Iraq. A defense support job. Is there a web site that could help me find other US workers that may be networking or sharing their expieriencs

why don’t you try the morgue ikeman

I checked the radio station listings. I don’t get Air America in my area. Even if a radio station carried Air America, LOL people wouldn’t get it ! :)

Jerry Springer was recently taken off the radio in my area. The station put him on their wesite so to cover their ( contractual obligation ) asses.

“Progressive” talk radio doesn’t pay the bills. jmo, why else would they be having this fall out nationwide?

I hope they didn’t bait you or coach you with interview answers.

If you don’t give them the truth they want to hear, they may not have you back.

About me

Hi there! Thanks for stopping in. I'm Christopher Allbritton, former AP and New York Daily News reporter. In 2002, I went stumbling around Iraqi Kurdistan, the northern part of Iraq outside Saddam's direct control, looking for stories. (Some might call it "looking for trouble.") In March 2003, I made it back in time for the war, becoming the Web's first fully reader-funded journalist-blogger. With the support of thousands of readers, we raised almost $15,000. You can read my dispatches here. It was one of the moments in journalism when everything worked. It was a grand -- and successful -- experiment in independent journalism. In 2004, I moved to Iraq, where I would spend the next two years. It was a raucous, scary and exciting place with a lot of news going on. But I've since moved on to Beirut and the wider region. I now report for a variety of outlets.

Won't you consider donating to support reportage from the Middle East? Your generosity directly feeds reporting costs such as visas, travel, fees and other expenses. I already have a bullet-proof vest, so no need to fund that.
